If you have a valid library card, go to your library's website and look at their online resources.
Asking because anecdotal reports from family don't suggest LG awesomeness. CR doesn’t have advertisers to appease and buy there own review items so they shouldn’t be bias, but in the past few years they’ve had “sponsorship” deals with manufacturers in which they help with development of new products based on there subscriber feedback.

Just happened to browse both Consumer Reports and Lemon Aid and noticed a big difference in their Toyota brand recommendation. The common Toyotas (Camry, Corolla, Matrix) are all recommended in CR. Lemon Aid lists these models as not recommended. Together with pages of safety defects. Lemon Aid seems well researched. How bad can the Toyotas be?
